Inventory labels for bins and shelves
Make location names consistent so every item has a predictable home.
A useful location label can combine an aisle, bay, shelf, and bin code such as A-03-02. Keep the sequence consistent across the building and make the largest part of the label the part workers need to read from a distance.
Start with one zone, document the naming rule, and label both the physical location and the inventory record. If you add a barcode, encode the exact location ID your inventory software expects. A tidy location map makes cycle counts and order picking more repeatable.
