Cold-chain labels: add handling details people can act on
Make the required temperature range and handoff instruction easy to see.
A cold-chain handling label should clearly show the temperature range or storage instruction defined for the product. It can also include a shipment reference and a concise action such as “keep refrigerated.” The correct range must come from the product owner or shipping procedure.
A paper sticker cannot measure or control temperature. Use suitable packaging and any required temperature logger, and record handoffs when your process calls for it. Confirm carrier acceptance for the service before sending temperature-sensitive goods.
